JIB TRAXX
To get more value out of your jib kit and crew booking you need a Jib Traxx buggy. If you're shooting at a large location like a country park or big venue with shots in different places setup time is key to getting maximum value from your day. Our Jib Traxx buggy is a silent electric go-anywhere vehicle with low pressure turf saver tyres. We build the jib once and get it to almost any location you like in double quick time.

ELECTRIC POWER
48v electric motor with battery range of approx 49 miles.
STANDARD D48 SCAFF
Rear buck is built from standard D48 ally scaff tube so we can configure any exra mounts, platforms or rigs.
NOTE:
We tow to site with our big kit van. Mileage costs are charged at 65p mile from base. Jib kit is not included in the Jib Traxx buggy hire but we're always open to a deal.

IDEAL JIB SIZES
18ft JIB is a great fit for the Jib Traxx. But we can go to 30ft or down to 6ft. You choose.
2 SEATS
2 seater cab area with mounts for monitor and of course a cup holder.
ELECTRIC TRACKING
The Jib Traxx is not only for jibs, we can rig it for a steadi cam op (with a garfield mount) or a fit a hard mount for a Ronin or other stabilised head.
LOAD CARRIER
Front mounted low cage for flightcases, sound kit, camera prep
TRANPORT
Arrives in a secure box trailer which doubles up as kit storage area, video village, even a tea room.
Max heights are stated by the manufacturer with the camera/head 'overslung'. The Jimmy jib is not well suited to that configuration. Underslung camera is more stable and safer, the lens height is approx 4ft lower than quoted.
Build Time:
Jibs up to 18ft reach (assuming kit is in the build area) Allow approx 1 hour .
Jibs up to 30ft reach (assuming kit is in the build area) Allow approx 2 hours.
Jibs up to 40ft reach (assuming kit is in the build area) Allow approx 3 hours .
All jibs are LOLER tested annually and electrical equipment is PAT tested where relevant.
An off-site risk assessment is supplied with every booking.. All our crews are fully insured for 3rd party liability.
