QR & BAR CODES
Shipping out a part to a customer is the easy bit but lets add a QR code to the component linking it to an exploded parts diagram or instruction set. Your service and repair engineer can simply scan the QR code on the part with their 'phone, open a link to a web page and get fitment instructions at the point of installation. A bit like having an on-site assistant.
MATERIALS
Our Fibre Laser tech can etch on almost any material you can think of including the really difficult stuff like anodised aluminium and stainless steel. By using a fibre laser the beam is intensified, powerful and extremely accurate and perfect for metals. Our Diode Laser system is ideal for other materials such as acetal and engineering polymers, wood and most plastics. By adjusting the parameters of the process we can even get some metal materials to show different colours! Pretty cool.
NEED FOR SPEED
The laser equipment we use is technically known as a galvanometer which uses mirrors to aim the laser beam. This means it's blisteringly fast and accurate. With a laser point size of just 0.03mm we can engrave materials upto 1000mm per second. The upside for you is that we can batch process small parts with quick turnaround times.

SKETCH AN ETCH
Simply send us your logo, QR code, barcode or design and using Smart AI your artwork is is transformed into an etchable image. We can handle virtually any file type you can think of including SVG, jpeg, bmp, EPS,

The laser dot size is just 0.03mm (when in fibre mode) making the result super accurate. This ensures clarity of text and graphics even when etched onto super small components.

Max etchining size is 220 x 220mm but we will soon invest in additional kit enabling 220mm x 500mm!
ER... AWKWARD
We can also etch to cylindrical and curved objects without distortion using intelligent AI 3d Curve mapping. Using a special rotary tool we can etch to flasks, cups, brackets, clamps, the list is endless.

We can also etch into awkward recesses, nooks and crannies placing codes and logos into places inaccessible with punches, pens or stickers.

MOBILE SERVICE
Shipping heavy materials and parts to us could get expensive but we'll soon have a mobile solution to solve that. Maybe the parts you need marking are too sensitive to courier, maybe you need a quick turnaround and can't wait for the snail mail to do its thing.
