Jibs are a speciality at Perspective Broadcast. With a jib you can get those dynamic shots that’ll give your production extra zing. The jib can be used indoors or out and can be configured for single camera or studio use. It builds in about 50mins to various lengths according to your shot. We can either use your camera or ours with full lens control. Shoot in SD or HD the choice is up to you.

We’ve used our jib on programmes such as Relocation Relocation (IWC), Mountain (BBC/IWC) and Antiques Roadshow. Tim, our jib op, spent 2 weeks on live coverage at the Delhi Commonwealth Games (pics here) with a 30ft jib and has worked on live news at Bloomberg TV with a short studio jib configuration. We recently built and operated our jib kit in front of an audience of 40,000 at the Excel Exhibition centre on a live broadcast to Uganda and last summer worked at Jamie Olivers Big Feastival featuring The Charlatans and Sky Fest featuring Calvin Harris, Texas and Eliza Doolittle!

The latest addition to our jib kit is a 4x4 go anywhere buggy. We call it Jib Traxx. With the Jib Traxx vehicle you save money by getting better value from a jib booking as the jib can easily relocate without having to be derigged. This means we can shoot from many different spots at a single location making the jib a far more versatile and cost effective tool.
